Web Authoring

This first year module introduces students to the tools and techniques required to design and author professional websites.

From hand coding their initial website, students progress to using Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe ImageReady and Photoshop to construct a website for a professional client.

There is a particular emphasis in this module on planning, paper prototyping, designing interfaces, and considering the issues of usability and accessability in web design.
