Smedia Awards

Congratulations to Jonathon Berry, Ivica Bozic, Craig Connolly and Francesco Fusco on being nominated in the Web Designer of the Year category of the Oxygen Student Media Awards 2008.

The award ceremony takes place in Tripod in Dublin on the 15th April 2008.

The Course

Interactive Media Higher National Diploma, BA (Hons)

Interactive Media has been devised to meet the design and development challenges of the new media, whether Internet or disk based, in education, business or the arts.

This HND program enables students to combine creativity, communication, collaboration, and technical skills - essential skills for the information age.

On completion of the course, students will have produced an original portfolio of work that reflects their newly acquired knowledge and competency.

This website is primarily concerned with showcasing the work of current and past students.

It is hoped also, that a visitor to the site will gain a comprehensive understanding of the course's content by exploring the list of modules on the left hand side.


Career Opportunities

Career opportunities within the interactive media and digital content sectors are diverse.

Graduates of the course find employment in the web development, interactive design, 3D modeling, animation, games development, advertising, and video production industries to name but a few.


College Links

Eligible graduates of Interactive Media may progress to the final year of degree programmes in the following universities: University of Paisley, University of Wolverhampton, University of Cumbria. Graduates also gain advanced entry to Griffith College, Dublin.
