BAFTA winner meets SMEDIA winner at Coláiste Dhúlaigh.
Film Production student Shane Collier was presented with his SMEDIA Award for Film Script of the Year yesterday at a special reception in Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education. Shane received his award from BAFTA award winning film director Damien O' Donnell. Damien is Patron of the Film Production course and a graduate of Coláiste Dhúlaigh. The SMEDIA awards are high profile and receive entries from universities such as UCD, Trinity College Dublin, DCU and NUIG. Their sponsors include RTE, TV3, TG4, The Irish Times, Nokia and Oxygen.ie. The college would like to congratulate Shane on this great achievement.
